What Warmspace stands for and what it means to join our company.

Warmspace is more than a product or company. It is a movement to reconnect people to humanity. It is family and community. It’s a place that anyone can call home. No matter the culture, race, sexual orientation, social class, age, and beliefs, it’s a place for anyone to feel valid, seen, and belong.

We live in a time where we are more connected than ever, but not with each other. 62% of Gen Z-ers feel lonely on a regular basis. Depression is on the rise. 76% of people globally think their country is divided. The damage extends far beyond that. We believe that disconnection is the root of many global existential threats we’re facing today. Over-consumption, climate inaction, extreme inequality, polarization, and warfare, are all manifestations of our unattended inner wounds as a collective.

We believe that healing the world starts from healing ourselves. If every person gets to taste the unconditional love that we deep down crave and the liberation of being seen for who we really are, we will stop entertaining the unending, exploiting escapism many of us fall trap into. As we sense ourselves as love, we stop craving it. As we feel the fullness of ourselves and the depth of life, we know that nothing is missing. We will take less, care more, and give more.

Our world is in dire need of more compassion, empathy, and authenticity. And we believe that we have the technology to nurture human growth and development at scale. Each Warmspace experience has the potential to remind people of their humanity, making them softer, kinder, and lighter, changing the way they show up in their lives, and creating a ripple effect of love through each person they interact with. So Warmspace is not just about making someone feel good through a nice conversation.

We are on a bold mission to heal the planet and the human race. This mission permeates every little part of our work. In our work interactions and in the way we shape the product and build our community. The way we run the company is different from many traditional businesses. We are conscious of stewarding the direction of the business based on realness, pure mission, and humility. That’s why we have created this manifesto that outlines how we show up every day in service of our purpose.

 
 
 
 

1. Serving humanity is our number one priority

Many of us joined Warmspace because of personal reasons. We have experienced disconnection, a sense of deficiency, and loneliness caused by our own trauma and how society functions today. Through our spiritual journey, we’ve learned that the true medicine that heals us is love and connection. Each of us has experienced the profoundness of inner work and because of that we are personally motivated to bring this liberation to every person on the planet.

Leaving a positive mark on humanity is the north star of everything we do. That means making hard decisions that might not align with profit and growth. That means never exploiting our user data. That means being okay to slow down to do the human things and taking time to grow in a healthy manner. That means putting ethics, user safety, and wellbeing above everything else.

At Warmspace, we have the privilege to see our direct impact on people’s lives daily. Every day, we receive heartfelt stories of how people’s Warmspace experience lifts them up from a dark place, gives them hope in humanity, or simply makes them feel less alone. This is what fuels us and will always be what sustains us in our dedication to this work.

2. We cultivate realness and welcome all parts of ourselves

At Warmspace, the people we work with are more than just colleagues. They are family. With family, we don’t hide any part of ourselves. We bring our fullest selves to work. Nothing ever feels too much. We celebrate each other’s quirkiness, uniqueness, and profoundness. We take a moment to check-in and check out at the end of each meeting to ground in our own and each other’s presence. We cultivate safety in our culture for everyone to share what is real for them in the moment, no matter how uncomfortable it may be. Each part of our humanity is honored at Warmspace.

Just like in a real family, while we love each other fully, conflicts arise. How can they not? We spend one-third of our lives at work. Our team is comprised of unique beings with different perspectives, communication and working styles. So, it’s normal for us to sometimes clash and to be triggered. But, we don’t run away from these moments, we embrace them and celebrate these differences. 

That means difficult conversations come up and we’ve built a culture to normalize them. People feel safe sharing how they feel the moment a charge comes up. We have established a dedicated time and space called, Circle where we meet every two weeks for us to share both our appreciation for each other or any tension that built up. We do this in a facilitated manner. This practice of open and honest communication extends to our community and to all stakeholders. We regularly send updates that include both the highs and lows to both our investors and our entire Warmspace community. We aspire to hit 80% of our communications on a public Slack channel so everyone channel has the visibility of what’s happening in our operations at Warmspace. Transparency as a way of being authentic is in the DNA of our company.

3. We nurture compassion, respect, and appreciation in our daily interaction

We treat each person we come in contact with at Warmspace as sacred. A multifaceted soul with universal pains and unique qualities that deserve to be fully seen. We practice this awareness in every interaction we have with our partners, investors, co-workers, and users. We have created a dedicated space and process for our team to share their appreciation for one another.

No matter how we feel toward a person, we always treat each other with respect and compassion. No matter what mistakes someone makes, we see the underlying goodness in them. Instead of pointing fingers at them, we curiously ask what their story is.

Because of this, the vibe in Warmspace feels literally warm. It’s common for people to express love to each other. People are not shy to call out something they are grateful for about the other person. People go above and beyond to help at work and outside of work. It’s not rare to feel moved at work to receive what someone shares from their heart.

4. We embrace change and constantly put ourselves at the forefront of exponential innovations

The beauty of our team is that most of us are not only spiritual but also technologists and disruptors at heart. We’re not afraid to break things. We experiment rapidly. We know that the only constant is change. While we execute with grit and determination, we also practice detachment. We don’t hold onto a fixed way of doing things. We observe, adapt, and respond to whatever changes come our way.


As much as we focus on shipping quickly in the present, we also think ahead of the future. Today, we are already exploring how to use AI to provide real-time feedback in Warmspace conversations, how to protect user data better on the blockchain, and creating an interoperable and personalized experience on Web3.

5. We practice Blissipline and take play and wellbeing seriously

While changing the world, we never forget to play and take care of ourselves. Each team member’s mental and physical well-being is above everything else. There’s no question asked when someone needs to take a week off to completely disconnect in a retreat. We make it normal for someone to say no to a meeting if they’re Zoom-fatigued. We make room for joy, laughter, and lightheartedness. We know work isn’t everything and support and celebrate things people do outside of it.

We believe a happier person is a more creative, productive, and collaborative individual. So we practice bliss with discipline, encouraging self-care practice, and creating an environment that inspires fun, joy, and well-being.

6. We trust the power within each sovereign individual to realize their potential

We believe that every person has the ability to demonstrate brilliance given the trust. That means at Warmspace we don’t believe in micromanaging. We believe in having little to no middle management. Every person gets to make an impact in their position. Every person gets to drive what speaks to their heart. With a team that is distributed across multiple continents and countries, you decide where and when you want to work. You decide when you want to take your vacation. We don’t believe in imposing rules that govern how people work. We believe in human sovereignty and when given full trust, people will naturally do the right things.

There are no fixed roles within Warmspace. You decide your own experience and how you want to shape the company. Doing development but have a talent in videography? See a gap in marketing you want to fill? Have creative ideas to improve our culture? There is no limit to what you can make happen in Warmspace.

We are a fan of the Teal Organization framework and try to align most of our structure, principles and processes to its model that supports the next stage of human consciousness.

7. Our workplace is an engine for spiritual growth

All of us at Warmpsace are passionate about self-development. We believe that growth is the goal of life itself, not a mean to an end. You’ll be surrounded by people who are self-motivated and driven to grow themselves every day. We constantly share inspirations, courses, and resources with each other. We practice mindfulness in each meeting and create a safe culture to make mistakes and express our truth. Each moment at work becomes an opportunity to develop emotional awareness, discover, and become the best versions of yourselves.
